We could well be set for a number of incomings and outgoings at Liverpool in the next few weeks as the summer transfer window begins to heat up.

The Reds have already agreed a deal to sign defender Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig, and they are unlikely to stop there as Jurgen Klopp looks to revolutionise his squad ahead of the new season.

The club's owners have already been told they need to splash some cash if Liverpool are to be competitive again in the Premier League, and do not be surprised to see a fair few big-money deals on the table.

Here is a look at all the latest gossip coming out of Anfield...

Liverpool have a history of signing talent from Netherlands' Eredivisie, and could well be set to raid the league again.

According to reports in Germany via TeamTalk, the Reds have opened talks with PSV Eindhoven over the potential signing of their 22-year-old forward Donyell Malen.

Malen, who spent two years at Arsenal in his youth career, scored 27 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions last season, and is regarded as one of Holland's most impressive youngsters.

Malen has been described as the 'new Luis Suarez', and PSV are believed to be willing to cash in on the player if Liverpool can stump up around £25.7m.

Isak turning heads

Another offensive option Liverpool are thought to be interested in is Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.

The 21-year-old, who bagged 17 goals in La Liga in the 2020-21 campaign, impressed in his first Euros game with Sweden against Spain, with many tipping him for a big-money move in the near future.

Isak is thought to have a release clause of around £60m, and according to Spanish outlet Noticias de Gipuzkoa, Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Isak's performances at the Euros with a view to potentially making a bid in the coming weeks.

And he may be seen as the long-term replacement for Roberto Firmino, who was criticised for his showings last season.

Ex-Reds youngster has no regrets over exit

Remember Pedro Chirivella?

The 24-year-old Spanish midfielder was signed by Liverpool's academy back in 2013, but only managed to make 11 senior appearances for the Reds.

Despite allegedly being offered a contract extension by the club, he left as a free agent to join French side Nantes last summer, where he has since gone on to become an important first-team player.

And speaking about his situation to Radio Esport Valencia, he said: “I am very satisfied on a personal level because it has been a year where I have grown a lot as a footballer.

"It is true that in the last season at Liverpool I played some games, but in the end it was only once a month."
