Bruno Fernandes makes Europa League final admission after latest Manchester United defeat
Man United were beaten for the 17th time in the Premier League this season on Sunday, losing 2-0 at home to West Ham United.
Captain Bruno Fernandes admitted Manchester United "can't just only focus on the Europa League final" following their 2-0 defeat to West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
United fell to a 17th Premier League defeat of the season after goals either side of half-time from Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen sealed a rare win for the visitors.
The defeat came less than 72 hours after United had beaten Athletic Bilbao 4-1 at Old Trafford to book their place in next week's Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
Winless in their last seven league games with just two left to play, Fernandes has said any points they can earn from their upcoming clashes with Chelsea and Aston Villa will be "massive".
"It's difficult to explain," Fernandes told Sky Sports. "Everyone wants to score goals. It's not been our season to get the goals in.
"We have to improve in that. We have to be much better. And we have to be more aggressive.
"We had two games, we have one more game. We can't just only focus on the Europa League final. We have to put maximum effort on every game.
"Any points in the Premier League at this moment for us will be massive."
The defeat to West Ham marked United's ninth Premier League home defeat of the season.
They have only won three home league games since Ruben Amorim took charge in mid-November, beating Everton, Southampton and Ipswich Town.
